Pilot II is an imposition software that facilitates multiple layout, pre-press mounting of print jobs by arranging individual document pages onto paper before printing. This software provides added print processing that far outweighs standard printer driver capabilities.

The print job is simply sent via the Pilot II software to the driver, which essentially reacts as a print queue. Adjustments can be made to the job in hand, such as brochure layout, stapling, multiple layouts, scaling, repositioning of the print image, and changes to the output parameters.
